Default Fairplay

2005 Fairplay 48v runs great. The cart has a 3 position ignition key: off, run and I assume, lights. With the voltage reducer energized the signals and horn work but not the headlights. The reducer is energized only by turning key fully to the right. I would appreciate any suggestions and thanks

can you provide more detail?
when did this happen, were you driving and the headlights went out?
did you check the fuse?
is there voltage at the headlight switch?
do you have a multimeter and are you comfortable performing voltage checks?

can you post some pictures of the headlight switch along with the cart?
I would like to see how similar it is to my cart. if it is close to my design then I may be able to help you more.

Cart had been sitting for a few months.
Both fuses good
no headlight switch 3 position key
I can use a multimeter
The body has been removed and the wiring is all exposed
I did find a broken wire at B- and replaced it
signals and horn work
I can get you some pics tomorrow
and thanks for the reply!

The headlights turn on with the small button on the turn signal switch...you must run with the ign. Switch turned to full right position for turn signals an brake lights to work and then when you need to add headlights and taillights just push the button on the turn signal switch and everything is good...
