![]() I'm prepping a 2006 Club Car DS for paint, but not sure how to remove plastic strips on body that seat sits on. It looks like they're glued on? Will a heat gun get them off? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

![]() If you're talking the Side Trim Bumper that runs from front wheel well to rear wheel well along the bottom. The parts manual calls for 8 total for both sides Screw, #8-18 x 0.375, Hex-Head Washer. Feel behind it under the cart and you should find them.
Looking a little more I think those screws hold the aluminum channel that holds the rubber molding on. It looks like you could warm it up and pry it off with a large screw driver. The rubber is in a groove at the top and bottom. |

![]() Thanks, but it was plastic strips directly under seat. Tried heating up with hair dryer, but it was warping strips. I ended up just pulling them off with no heat. They were held on with double sided tape. Really good double sided tape!
