Default Bad boy buggy lithium drop in?

I know this is an ezgo thread but I am trying to get some lithium info for a friend. He wants to replace his FLA batteries in his bad boy buggy with a lithium solution. I wanted to see what the best idea is. I like the roypow products. Would that work for him?

Don't know why not as long as they have a battery pack that is comparable to his (voltage same). He may have to change out charger plug. I had to cut off the supplied plug and put rings to attach to battery.

Also depends on the bbb. Some had batteries up front as well.

So I spoke to Don Plowman. He does not recommend the roypow for this. He said that due to them having 2 motors and 2 controllers, the roypow can't put out enough juice. He also said even if it did, the cart would not go for long. I am not sure. He sells allied and said it would take 6 to run the bad boy nicely. However that is really expensive. That said, I trust Don but I need to see if there is an alternative. Any other input is helpful. It is a 2010 XT.

Where did you end up with this? I have a 2010 bbb xt and am in the market for a lithium battery solution right now. Thanks!
