Default how do I by-pass voltage sensor on total charge

I have a '90 EZ-GO cart...the batteries are so depleted the charger won't come on to charge them. (I've checked the charger on another cart)

I've heard there is a way to go inside the Total Charge charger and change a wire so the charger will come on...

Anyone know what needs to change or have a wireing diagram for this?

Thanks...

Not sure if all the chargers have yellow and black. All of the ones I have seen have a yellow and black wire going to the control board....I would strongly suggest charging enough to get the batts up enough for the auto to take over and get the charger put back together right.

Wow, Dooly what a quick response...thank you so much.

I will do exactly what you recommend, roady89....get the batteries semi- charged then reconnect correctly..

Thanks again!

i would highly recommend just charging the batteries in 12v series with a 12v battery charger for about 15 minutes per 12v set.. This usually gets enough surface charge to turn the charger on.

Or likewise if you follow dooley's instructions then you can just charge them for about an hour, then set it up normally again.
