DCS throttle sensor
I have a 1997, 36v, txt EzGo. I posted a thread last week about loosing power. Batteries are good, motor is good and the guy I took my DCS controler to... says it would not be my controler with this type of problem. So he wouldn't even check it. He seems to think it is my throttle sensor. But before I buy a new sensor. I was just wanting another opinion. So here is what it does.
It will go to full acceleration (slowly accelerate) only when it is on jack stands. When it is on the ground... it will not go to full acceleration. Only about half throttle then it looses all power. Turn the key off and it does a none stop beeping (beep, beep, beep, beep) with the key on or off. To stop the beeping... I switch the tow/ run switch to tow then back to run and it seems to reset itself. Turn key back on and do it all over again. |
