Default should i save old batteries

ok so i have some interstate u2200 batteries that were put in the cart i purchased in july 06 . 1 has a hole and cant be saved but the other 5 seem to be in good shape just dead . my questions are should i try to save them by replacing the Electrolyte with fresh ? also if i do would it be ok to mix old batteries with 1 new one ? could i run 12v deep cycles until i get the cash for some new 6v ones ? thanks in advance for any advice !!!!

keep saving your money and get new ones. adding one new one will to 5 deads wont help much, waste of a good battery .

Get new ones and take real good care of them and that will be your best value for the $$ you spend.

mixing a new battery with old ones is a good way to decrease the life of the new one. Reason being is once the new one gets fully charged the others wont and the charger will continue to charge, overcharging the new battery.

AS STATED. save your money and get 6 new batts. You can run 12V of you want, but they wont give you run time and wont last as long.
