Default Wiring up the passenger roof support?

2015 precedent

I see that there is a grommet at the top of the passenger roof support; where is the lower one or where do I feed cables into it?

Thanks in advance

I have a brand new fleet of 2016 Precedents and I will look tomorrow and see if I can spot it....

Not likely the same but I ran wires down the roof support of my 2005 precedent. The bottom came out above the tire. I used a stiff wire to fish my wiring.

It feels like it's solid down there but I'll get under and look.

I know cc offers a GPS screen factory and it's wired through there just don't know where the bottom plug / drill spot / opening is

That is a factory wiring hole for GPS systems on fleet carts to run the necessary cable. If you get a flex tool (or maybe even a bolt on a piece of string) you will see that it exits at the bottom of the roof strut. Hope that helps...

Answer:

All passenger side

Take the side plate off with a single exposed bolt.

Then remove the 2 bolts holding the roof support (they also have sleeves that go through the support.

You will see the pre drilled lower hole that's just above the second bolt. Also you will then see where you can feed in cables through a set of predrilled holes that sits in the spot between the support and the floor board.

Well thought out and easy to use
