I'm back. Between Wisdom teeth and helping my Son get his new house ready to move into didn't get to work on the Cart much----Until last night.

"Ain't she purty"

Got it turning over last night but no fuel
Messed with the fuel pump some, tried priming it.
Then, it wouldn't turn over at all. Pretty frustrated.
So I just went to bed and slept on it.
This morning doing my troubleshooting I found this.

DSC04600A.jpg

Thought sure I had it But No I didn't.
Finally traced 12V to the SG but the connection was
corroded so bad 12V was on the cable but not going to the post.
Cleaned that up and we have Turnover.
Still no fuel. Checked spark, got it....
Made a home made fuel jug, hooked it up to carb and after a few squeezes
She fired off and now fuel pump is shooting fuel everywhere.
Got fuel line hooked back up and she is purring like a kitten.
Now for the tweaking and Fun stuff.
Thanks to all the Pro's on here who's posts and threads I poured over.
I Will have more questions for sure. But for now I'm a Happy Old Man.

Looks good, I would change that tensioner to a solid eye bolt, I myself broke 2 of the cables, then again you might not drive like me.

Well, she Was purring like a Kitten
Something intermittent, sometimes it starts, sometimes it don't.
Did my troubleshooting.....have a sometimes bad solenoid.
Ordered a new one today and went ahead and ordered brushes for the S/G
just in case.
Tore the S/G apart tonight and the brushes look pretty good, HMMM....anyway gave it a good cleaning and will put new ones in when they arrive.
Cleaned all the wire terminals, etc.....Hope the Solenoid fixes it.

I know this exhaust thing has been beat to death But this VC motor is loud.
My cows don't like it too much, though they will adjust.
It is louder than I want also.
Will this extension quiet it down some just like a tailpipe on a car.
Made it out of some bale feeder parts laying around..

Haven't welded it on yet, thought I would get the Pro's opinions first.
Thanks

IMHO You should do a more solid mount on the muffler itself so as not to cause too much stress on the whole system.

Ray, I agree. That is just kind of a test fit to get going. Will see if it quietens it any when I get her going again. Thanks.
