Following our big block forum trendsetters David Maner and rayhd I thought the new Vegas Carts engine offering needed a nameplate like their 460 and 440 carts. While checking the oil on my F250 it came to me. Found a seller of custom adhesive backed letters and numbers. They offer silver and black @ $.99 per digit.

Can you share where you purchased that from? I was looking for something similar for my 625!

There are a lot of sellers for similar items. The seller I used was gften. Search the seller's name on ebay and "chrome car badge letters". He offers standard and italic/slanted like mine. I don't have a link at the moment. They are located in Thailand but it delivered fast.

Not yet as I'm having some problems getting everything sorted out but I will as soon as I get it running right. I'm gonna pull the engine tomorrow and check the seal on the airbox as i think that may be where my issue is

If it is any consolation mine seems cold blooded. Of course it has been bitter cold here since Christmas. It is almost to the point I am thinking about sending my carb to Shepard and contracting him to install an adjustable idle mix screw like he did on his 24mm carb. It might get better this weekend when the highs will be around 50.

My issue is I can't get it running without the choke pulled so I'm pretty sure it's running really lean. I looked and my airbox didn't seem like it was sealing well so I'm gonna pull the engine and see if that solves anything. Also ordered a new fuel pump as the flow from mine didn't seem sufficient. In any case I'll let you know when it get going right.

This weekend will be warm enough to work on my cart. The Honda choke plate and remote cable are first on the agenda.

Mine runs lean too. It pops on deceleration. It needs a bit of throttle to start from cold with the choke. After about 20 seconds it needs the choke off but still a little throttle for about a minute or so. Then idles fine. But that is at 8-10 degrees ambient temp. It may be different this weekend in the 50's. It will be a couple weeks before I have time to install and fiddle with the adj main jet.
