Tires should be straight up/down with people on it, assuming the toe in is not affecting it. Toe in will make them tip out going forward, toe out will make them do it in reverse. I made my lift like this.

Today I got the front end aligned much better than it was. That seemed to help how the passenger side seemed to have more camber than the drivers side. With two people on it, they straighten up pretty nice.

This Jakes 6" lift has the back sitting a dead even 1" higher than the front, so I may drop the A arms down anyway, and add taller shocks, or drop the factory shocks down another inch. Just an idea goin on in my head right now

Well, it's been a while since I had time to get pictures on here....anyway, got the drop plates made for the front out of some 1/4x5" flat bar. Dropped the front A-arms down 3.5" and widened the front end 4". I'm pretty satisfied with it!

Also had to stretch the steering linkage in order to get enough length. Got 2" aluminum spacers in the rear to make the wider stance to match the front.

If I don't stop changing the chassis, I'll never get the body looking good

Next on the list is to find some seats, and get an alternator on this thing

Here are some pics:

Let me know what you guys think

Forgot to mention that I had to lower the top shock mount down 3" and welded in some plates to make it sturdy

You can also see some mud still on the old gal from the first time I took her through some mud

Thanks, guys! Slowly but surely, right??

I am still back and forth on what color to paint it. I originally wanted to do a deep red, with a flattener in the clear to have a satin finish. I really enjoy riding it through the woods, and the idea of scratching up some freshly painted and buffed clear just erks me!

So now, I'm thinking of a darkish-gunmetal grey.....but I'm still not sure.

Black would look nice, red would look nice......as you can tell I am no where close to buying paint!!!

I know I wont be painting mine but I was lucky enough to find a cart without paint or decals all over it. The last thing I want to worry about is scratched paint out on the trail. Might you consider a lighter color that doesn't show scratches as much?
