Rxv key turned multiple times before it will go

My Rxv has new batteries, often I have to turn it off and on many times before it will go. When I turn the key on and it doesn't go I notice that the engagement sounds are a little weaker. When it actually engages I hear the sounds a little louder and you can feel the cart vibrate and move a little. Any help trouble shooting will be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like motor brake to me. Next time try this (not related to motor brake, but another possible suspect), put your toes behind the pedals & pull them towards you as you turn the key on. Pedals not returning fully up will also cause this.

Thanks for the feedback. I do know that my motor brake is not working. The brake does not engage when the cart is off. I posted that issue on another thread. Are there any switches etc. that I need to test before buying a new motor brake?. If not do you have a recommendation on a brand r website to buy it from? I looked on the internet and the prices vary big time. I don't want to buy a piece of junk or spend more than I need to. Thanks

Fix the brake first. There is a power up test that checks for the brake. If it fails the cart won't go. Buy a good quality oem brake. Check with the sponsors first but going back to Ezgo might be a good idea.

Just make sure it is an OEM brake. Find the best price.
