Default Precedent won't move and I'm out of ideas...

this is ~2007 Precedent that belongs to my FIL. He just bought it a few weeks ago and it's an awesom cart. But, it's just decided not to move all the sudden.

Here's what I've checked:

- Batteries...tested on a volt meter and all four appear to be strong. Lights work, horn works and back up buzzer works.
- There is no "Solenoid click" or anything.
- Cart will not move in forward or reverse.
- All wires appear to be in great shape and there's no corrosion.
- Run/Tow switch is on run.
- Key switch appears to work.

Any ideas? I've worked on a ton of Club Cars, but, the Precedent is a new animal for me. I'm a total hack, but, I can get around most of the older ones without any problem.

I need some help here fast as I don't want to let my FIL down.

I would check the voltage across the solenoid, there are lots of posts in the electrical sections about how to test, make sure you follow all the safety precautions. It appears to be a bad solenoid, and yes, they can just die all of a sudden...

Remove the center electronics cover between the batteries and check the fuse to see if it's blown. It should be the fuse holder with red wires. If you have lights you'll have another one with blue wires.

I have a 03 DS with a IQ computer (AQ0322) that is now doing the same thing. First it would drop out and come back if allowed to sit a while . Now it has quit completely like yours. I have tested and energized the solenoid manually. It appears ok. I also could use some ideas also, Please

What do the small wires coming out of the motor do? If the brushes on the motor are worn will it stop operation? Just a thought.
