4 wheel disc brakes group buy?

The manufacture swears up and down that he is not making enough money on these to discount them any more than $20 a set!?

I have fought off a price increase on this product this spring already by taking less profit.

Hey, thank ya scottyb! I appreciate the attempt at helping us out here! ^_^ too bad the manufacturer won't budge D: ah well! I think Im going have to go couch diving for a while and invest in a nice piggy bank for it all. Savings at it's finest!

It really could be that the manufacture is not making a lot of money on these brakes. When you look at the amount of quality product and machining that goes into these set ups... you can see quite a bit of expense???

The 2 wheel set is near half the cost and is still a 100% improvement over the stock brakes! Maybe the 2 wheel set would do?

Well, at this point I am still looking for a chassis to start with, so I am getting a good bit ahead of myself here I am fairly certain that the two wheel kit would do just fine, and at half the cost I could totally pull that off! :)

The other cable set cost over $200 and gives a 20% increase in braking.
The 2 wheel hydraulic cost twice as much and delivers 5 times as much braking power or 100% increase.
It does not take a mathematician to figure out which is better.

Get a few buyers together maybe we can talk about free shipping?

Somehow this picture looks strikingly familiar.

I was wondering if I could get a rebate if someone bought a set cheaper than what I paid? Running and ducking for cover from the man in Cali now.

Seriously, there was obviously some amount of engineering that went into the parts and pieces that were custom to the kit, brackets, rotors etc... The spindle mods are not a particularly difficut looking operation but obviously take some time to get right. Appeared to me that the master cylinder, reservoir and the calipers were stock items from something else. Prolly an ATV application of some kind. I am all for a cheaper price but the manufacturer sets the price and that's the end of it in my book. Either buy it or don't. That's the way I see it anyhow.

Never felt the need personally to negotiate with Scotty. A couple of dollars is well worth being able to get the help that I need and for the peace of mind of knowing that he is going to go to bat for me every time if I need him to..... and stuff like calling him on Memorial Day afternoon to find out torque specs on carrier bearing caps and such like that is pretty cool to.
