Default And so it begins...bought a cart today

First off let me say thanks to everyone here that contributes all this info and answered my questions.

I have been looking at so many carts that my head was starting to spin, and I wasn't getting any work done...

Well I got one today. 2008 TXT.
I didn't want the top on it so the guy traded me a new light kit and trailer hitch for it and installed them for $50.

Here she is. I am already looking at a small lift, bigger rims and low pro tires, and fender flares......It has already started

i want to get that light kikt on my cart. do you know what size bulb goes in the head lamp? and also the orange marker? i want to put LEDs in the orange marker lamp and possibly some HID's in the head lamps if possible. also do they put out alot of light during night cruising?

There is a high output bulb available for the light bar... as for the orange markers, I don't know if they make those in LED.....

I bought some aftermarket look-a-likes at a local truck supply store that are LED. They look great. Just look around, they are out there. try <superbriteleds.com> they have a good selection.

Nice find, looks clean, but get it up on some jacks and check for rust. I have a 2008 also. It looks nearly brand new, but when I got under it to install some lighting, I found several areas of rust with paint chipping off of the frame, nothing major, but required attention. I just hit it with a file and some rough sand paper and sprayed the spots with some black Rustoleum...good to go now.

Keep us updated with all the future modifications!
