Thank You's all around
I have just completed the build of a 1989 EZGO Marathon that I will be using for my daughters High School Band program. Prior to joining this forum, I had absolutely no knowledge of anything golf cart other than driving them on the course.
I want to thank all of the site sponsors and amatuer cart builders on this site that work so diligently to help those of us that are golf cart iliterate (or at least were when the build started). Through all the hundreds of posts that I read, and all of the questions that I asked during this build, all were of the utmost help. Hopefully, as my golf cart prowess improves I will be able to provide at least a fraction of knowledge / wisdom that has been imparted on me. Now that the band and football seasons are getting ready to start, and the cart looks respectable on the outside, we are going to leave well enough alone until next year. I have been out daily driving the cart for an hour or so, letting the batteries drain and be recharged and have had no issues to date. When I start working on the powertrain and the stopping power, I am sure that I will again be quizzing the pro's on the ins and outs of 36v (or maybe 48v) power. So, once again, Thank You! Have one on me. |
