ez go charger help

hey guys i bought a 94 marathon that came with an ez go charger.. its a charger i have never seen before , i am new to carts tho. i dont exaclty nkow how to use it. it has a timer turn dial thing on it and a reset button that says 50 on it at the bottom right of the charger. when i went to go charge the cart yesterday. the reset button would not push in. so i just turned the dial to start and it goes on to 1, 2, 3... ect. up to 11. . . at the start of the charge it charges at 20 amps i believe. is that okay? any info on the charger as too why im supposed to hit the reset button after every charge and if i can charge it back to back and such would be greatly appreciated thanks.

20 amp start is correct. Amperage will taper off as it goes thru it's 3 stages. Set the timer to 5-6 hrs minimum and once a week set it to 12hrs according to the manufacture.

sweet. thank you for your help. so then after an 11 hour charge it is full? or as full as these batteries can get lol. thanks again
