03 PDS Facelift for the kids...
Originally I posted this in the member cart section but now I realize this is the proper place for this...
I picked this cart up for my kids, we live on a few acres and wanted something for the kids to rids in... My neighbor used this for hunting and had some problems with it so he sold it to me on the cheap... When I first got it I knew one battery was shot and it needed a new set of cables, I ordered that material and decided to clean it up a bit. I started by removeing all batteries and thats when I found all the rust... So onto the teardown I proceeded... At this point the floor had a little surface rust and the battery tray was pretty badly rotted out... I prepped and primed the floor and ordered a new aluminum battery tray.. While I was waiting on parts I had a little time so I decided to shoot some paint on the body, just a simple rattle can job but I did put some plastic primer on and sanded everything real good in hope the rattle can job would last a little longer... I went with an OD Green just in the event I decided to use this out at the hunting ground we have.. The original faded black paint.. The two coats of platic primer... The final coat of OD green... I also decided to replace the rear shocks and install new HD rear springs since the buggy had a custom rear basket on it that is kinda heavy and I knew we would be using it... New springs and shocks installed... Once all the parts came in I put it all back together along with a new set of trojan's and the kids love it... Still missing a couple parts at this point... I decided to drag it on our annual trip to the river as well... Handy to have for sure... Thanks for following along... |

Not too much, lights, vinyl seat cover and a little welding on the rear basket... This one is mainly for use around the house....

I will actually be up in your neck of the woods (NW Illinois) in early November chasing the elusive whitetail around with my bow... Thinking hard about bring the buggy with me...
Yes Sir, it makes a good little buggy for hauling the fun stuff with all the baskets |
