Re: Heavy Duty HD Spring Install
I have read somewhere on here that if you have the rear seat option you should unquestionably put on heavy duty shocks for the rear. We bought ours used with the folding rear seat. Is there anyway of telling by looking if we have the heavy duty springs? I do question the place we bought it from but hindsight is terrific.

Re: Heavy Duty HD Spring Install
Thanks for the clarification.
And RPatten, on my Precedent, the standard spring is one leaf. I would suspect that anything more than one leaf could be considered HD. |

Make sure your shocks have some travel and not topped out, as this will break them. I made shock end extenders they are metric not sure of size but some places have allthread. Not saying where I got mine as it was a gift

I'm standard. Now there is something else to worry about. I suppose as long as my kids don't tote me around we will be ok.

Can I get springs just for the rear or is that a problem? Some folks, it seems, jack their buggies up using HD springs. I just don't quite feel like looking into lift kit applications with out more study first. |

Re: Heavy Duty HD Spring Install
AQ0627-644***. All the bill of sale sale is IQ. Picked it up used from an EZ Go dealer. I would have thought there was some general knowledge of carts carrying from one brand to another but it seems otherwise in this case.
And while you are looking, what is the max size I can stick on here without a lift. I have some 18-9.5*8's on here now. They are lugged tires that do right well in the slick mud we have but I would like a little more clearance without the cost and frustration of figuring out the lift just yet. |
