Default 2006 Club Car DS IQ solenoid issue

I have a 2006 Club car IQ. With the cart in RUN, the solenoid sounds like it is activating with the turn of the key. I swapped solenoids and its still doing it. You can turn it to TOW and hear it click and back to RUN and clicks again. Could this be a controller issue? I planned on swapping controllers with a 03 IQ I have to see if it fixed it but didn't know if anyone else has experienced this? Thanks!

I think that's okay. The Ezgo Sepex carts all do that. THe solenoid activates when you turn the key on. If you wait a few minutes it deactivates. And reactivates when you press the gas. Is your solenoid clicking when you press the gas?

It does not. I've never had an CC IQ activate the solenoid with the key turned on? It does not deactivate after a few minutes either?

Guy called and said his cart stopped and it was stuck in a parking lot. I got there and it was in a parking spot. I don't know if he pushed it or what. It was in tow when I got there but I cant say that he didn't push/tow it that way.

My IQ clicks when you press on the pedal, not when cart is flipped on.
It may be your pedal adjustment? Maybe the solenoid thinks the pedal is further down than it should be?

I played with the pedal. My prob #2 is the cart still doesn't move even when you turn it on and the solenoid activates. When I press the pedal the cart still doesn't move. Jumping 2 large posts doesn't help.

I swapped controllers with my 03 IQ. Looks like they smoked theirs. Oh the joys of electric cart ownership. Thanks for the input gentlemen.
