Default lifing Club Car DS

Hello guys i just bought some new mud tires for my club car ds and they clear just barely and when i hit a bump or put weight on the back of my cart the tires rub the fenders. Is there any way i can lift my golf cart just an inch. I looked into flipping the leaf spring to on top of the back axle and raising it 3 inches but i dont want to have to buy the brackets and i think it would look funny with three inches in the back and one inch lift in front. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

I put heavy duty 4 leaf springs, on mine and gained 1 1/2 in.

I did a 3" lift kit on a DS and it was inexpensive and easy to install. it came with drop-spindles for the front and new leaf perches for the rear. You take leafs from under the axle to over and use the new perches.

The kit did not come with any lit at all, so do not know if they intended for the new perches to be welded to the axle, but I did weld them.

It made room for 10" wheels and 20" tires.

It is from a cub cadet mower. Be sure to get the correct snap in switch for the assembly. When I set on my the switch closes.

Its personal preference on the look. Ive done it and didn't like it. The HD springs are the way to go in my opinion. It should give you the clearance you need and not be too noticeable.

You need a block to set the spring on and a bracket to go on top of that to hold the u bolt and the rear shock
