Default Re: Cart can't last 18 holes, why?

Well in a perfect world, that's what i would do, but i would rather not pay the $100 towing fee i've had to pay twice now when my cart dies on me to get it home. So i really would like to avoid letting the cart die to diagnose the problem if possible since i'm out $100 every time it dies.

Take cart to cart repair shop and have the batteries load tested, or replace the batteries without knowing for sure they are the problem.

Since they were allowed to completely discharge, chances are high they are bad.

You never fail to come with a solution. This is a good one.

Test individual batteries while under load/driving. You may have a bad batt or two. Same thing as JohnnyB suggested, but can be done on your own if you have a DMM.

Replace the batteries. If that don't fix replace the controller. If that don't fix it replace the motor. If that don't fix it replace the solenoid. If none of those fix it get out the voltmeter again.
