That's right Alabama requires no title on golf carts, atvs, side x sides etc... Selling to an individual just a bill of sale is all that needed. When I buy and sell I always ask the seller for the certificate of origin which proves it's been paid off or no lein on the vehicle. Also when selling the certificate is helpful so that the person who wants to buy my cart , there bank might want my certificate when making the loan to the individual. Again the origin is not needed in a non title state but can help making a sale down the road and also proving a cart isn't as likely to be stolen.

I got mine 2007 for $2300 it had a rear seat and never seen a golf corse.I seen one on C. List with no rear seat for $2500. Next town over from me I should of picked it up.

There's a guy on talley road in San Antonio, off the beaten path, that I found to be pretty reasonable. He ahead several yamahas too. $2100-$2500 was his norm and that would have been with a top and backseat. His lifted ones started around $4000. San Antonio carts or golf carts I believe is the name.
