Re: gas pours out of intake
I'm assuming that this is a single cylinder 2 stroke.
Did it suddenly quit running, or is this a won't run after a rebuild? What is the compression? I'm thinking clogged exhaust, reed valves stuck open, or ripped diaphragm in fuel pump. |

Re: gas pours out of intake
compression is good. it is a 2 stroke and i haven't changed exhaust. to much $ for new one but when it turns over i do have smoke coming out of pipe. have heated up exhaust with torch to burn out settlement so i think it's clear. it ran ok but not great with org carb but needle valve fell out so got another carb to replace org carb but different size bowl. where i bought it said it matched up with one i had.

Re: gas pours out of intake
Hi,Maybe the float is stuck----- new are used without fresh fuel or no fuel and on top of that thrown around in shipping will cause the float to stick.Tap on the fuel bowl with it running and see if it sounds better and the fuel stops over flowing. If not---- I'ts time for a new needle and seat or just a good cleaning and adjustment. Hope this helps

Re: gas pours out of intake
First thing I would do is unbolt the exhaust to see if it runs better.
Then, read this thread. http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/gas-e...fuel-pump.html |

Re: gas pours out of intake
Common symptom of fuel pushing back through carb on a two stroke is bad reed valve I'd take a look at it if I was you
