Re: Heavy-Duty Rear Leaf Elec Club Car
Just go to the top of the page and check out the site sponsers, most of them sell the lifts, either allsports lift kits or Jakes is the way to go, stay away from the ebay china models, the spindles will break,
O and both of those manufactures ^ are made in the good ole USA |

Re: Heavy-Duty Rear Leaf Elec Club Car
Thanks for all the good info. I bought the heavy duty springs for the back.
I also picked up a spacer plate to fix the front tires from rubbing. Thanks again. Jeff |

Re: Heavy-Duty Rear Leaf Elec Club Car
I know I'm bringing up an old post, but I ran across this when I ran into a problem installing my 4-leaf rear springs on a non-lifted '04 CC--
For anyone else planning to install HD springs without a lift kit, longer rear shocks or bolt extenders will be necessary as well. I ended up using a bolt coupler attached to the original lower shock threads and a 2-inch bolt through the shock mount to the other side of the coupler. It seems to work well, but if you want to do it the "right" way, looking around for longer shocks to fit your cart and have them on hand with the longer u-bolts and new bushing bolts. |
