Default Ez go wiring problems.

I have a 90' s model ez go elec cart. It has only one solenoid with a forward and reverse switch. I am trying to get this thing running again for the kids but am have no luck. Cart was running when it just stopped and has not ran since. Burnt the end of a wire off that connects to the motor. Fixed that. Still won't go. Requested wiring diagram from dealer and from what I gather from diagram my buggy is wired differently. Not sure how to post pics but will try. Any help would be greatly appreciated

You might get better help in the EZ-GO section.

check the micro,s behind the F&R lever..........theres a double back there on drivers side with a metel lever type thingy and that seems to bend out of place causing cart to stop and if you havn,t try jumping your solenoid large post see if that does anything.......................................... ...

always possible controller is bad but there are many things to test and check before jumping right to the controller.......can,t tell you how many people stopped at my place and said my cart stopped and i replaced the controller and still no go??just had a guy last week said my cart won,t go should i get motor or controller or both....................turned out to be a bad solenoid................thats why i preach the manual its gives you a step by step that takes 99.9%of the guesswork out of it..............................

Clee

Here is a link to a wiring diagram, check it out, if this does not work, then go to the Home tab, then click ezgo electic, there is will find more information regarding your cart. Good Luck

you,ll never find a sulution according to just a diagram my point was with a service manual it takes you by the hand and walks you thur the right way to do it instead of guessing at it....................and yes from behind a puter everything we print is armchaair quarterbacking..............there are a lot of varibles......like whos working on the cart ( their skill level ) i mean right now i could be repling to a 12 year old and wouldn,t know it........know what i mean........................................

There is a spring loaded contact pin that makes contact with the individual studs on the speed board. Check that this pin moves freely in its sleeve.
