Fuse Continuously blows
Working on a 97 ezgo txt with 295 robin engine.
The cart had no power to ignition or starter generator. Checked fuse on positive terminal and it was blown. It was a 20 amp fuse so I replaced with same. After 5 minutes cart did it again. However this time when I try to plug fuse in it blows instantly. I decided to check connections and replace fuse holder with a different style. Once I did, samething occurred. It worked a couple of times then blew the fuse. Ever time I tried to replace after it blew instantly. Where and what should I check? |

Re: Fuse Continuously blows
Sounds like a wire with a bare spot grounding out. Moving it around changes it.

Re: Fuse Continuously blows
the owner had an extra wire ran to the positive terminal. I assumed that the wire was an accessory power wire however after talking to the owner I quickly realized they put a ground on the positive terminal. Problem solved.
