Default Re: 2009 G29 Deceleration Noise

Sorry to bump up an old post but my 2007 G29 is going the same thing on deceleration. It is a similar noise and doesn't do it every time. It was completely stock when I bought it and I just changed the fluid in the rear end and made sure I used the Yamaha shaft lube. The fluid that came out was very dark and had a strong oil smell. No metal particles on the plugs. Are there any updates to this?

I drove it for awhile yesterday and drained the fluid. I didn't get all of it out the first time since what came out was still dark although not as dark as the first time. I'm going to repeat the process until the fluid is clear. I hope that takes care of the noise.
