well i went to see the mower man today. i had to bribe him with a beer to get this number

it should croos referance a jd part umber M70114

first place i googled it was $24. like i said he gets them cheaper to me, but he has no overhead. still a steal of a deal.

note note note!!! this has worked for me on 2 carts. i take no responsibility if you don't have the same good results. this is also probably an aftermarket part(unless you get it from a jd dealer and even then...)

Thanks and much thanks to your part man.....I really don't need the ignitor now but would like to have one on hand...seems I have a bad rpm limiter...disconnected the ground wire from it and my problems disappeared....beats me...but it worked!

give or take. the picture in his book looked like that but when it came it was a bit different shape/size. it fit fine after a bit of tweaking the holder with a pair of pliers(10-15 seconds work)

Where can I get one for $24.00? I need one and Im getting the usual price of 60-80 bucks at the shops around me. Probably for a 10 cent item no less.
