I received the return label to.day.
Good. BUT.... I had to take it to a FedEX drop off location....
BAD
then I had to heft it and put it on the scale.........
WORSE !!
The thing weighed in at 100# 11.0 OZ.
The lady at the counter was NO help...........
good thing my back is stronger than my mind, and NEITHER is very strong.....
So,it oughta take 4 days to get there, then they said it will ale a couple of WEEKS to analyze and fix it............
I miss my golf cart............

Don't most lithium batteries have a 5 or 10 year warranty on them? Was there any question that this would be covered by the warranty? But reading that they told you a couple of weeks to repair does not make me want to get this battery over another brand that may have a local dealer network.

Yes, it is being covered under their 10 year warranty.
They are indeed covering this under warranty.....shipping both ways, etc.
The time frame is a bit disturbing, and i expressed this....
But, i will be away for some time next week, so I don't want Fedex
trying to deliver it while I'm not here.....
I WILL be interested to know the diagnosis, however.

I will say that I was rather disturbed with their online chat tech advisor. I mentioned my Renogy monitor and the tech person kinda went off on me....something about Renogy inverter/chargers NOT being approved or compatible or something like that....and that I should have read some literature about this....making it seem that I was at fault for the failure.... i told him/her that it is a Renogy 500 Battery MONITOR , NOT an inverter; NOT a charger.... and the online chat was quickly ended.....by the tech..... I thought that to be a bit RUDE.........

Ronno, you're taking this pretty well, a lot weller than I would!

The chat advisor apparently did not know anything about golf carts or their battery. They are just parrots advised what to say.

I'm sorry for your problems. This lithium project of yours has been a real challenge which you handled better than most would. Congratulations for that!

Yup. The "chat advisor" kinda cut and ran once I imparted an education on him/her. Their hackles went down and their tail with the hackles....
FedEX delivered the BB yesterday....

I am not exactly happy about this.......and I am especially not happy that it may take them 2 weeks to diagnose and correct the problem. Seems that I have to get in line behind the new sales ahead of me..........that's pretty poor.
But.....................
Whatcha gonna do??

I feel your pain! There should have been a new battery out of their doors the day [or the day after] you called to report the problem!! You would have to return yours of course for them to figure out who/what is at fault. My equipment including my cart works everyday and cannot be down for weeks! FLAs might be heavy, but damm, they are reliable.

The HSKY arrived at BB on Sept 12.
As of today, they tested it and found the BMS to be defective.
They replaced the BMS and the battery passed test.
Soooooooooooooooo

It is to be shipped out..."In the next few days."

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm

Anyway, that is the show so far.
Now y'all know as much as me.......
