Default '03 G22 prep for lithium conversion

Pulled the trigger on the bigbattery honey badger x3 kit. Curious what others have done to adjust to the different battery size. My though is to install a 1/2 HDPE board over the current battery rack. I think they would give me a stable base to mount the new batteries and the bus bars. Anyone do anything similar or have a better idea?

Thanks
