Cushman 36v Hawk, wide open after slight damage
Hi all, there as so few Cushman Hawks that there isn’t much help on any Cushman pages.
I purchased a fixer upper knowing it needed work. I drove it 100 yards and up on trailer. As I was backing off, the throttle linkage hit the ramp and the connecting rod broke off. I fixed the linkage and it would go 10 feet at low speed and stop. I discovered a seized brake so I released that and now when you put it in gear, it is wide open. I guess I need to test every component but wondering where to start. Btw when it hit the trailer, it would have forced into the off position so I don’t see where that could have damaged much. |
