Electric to Gas
I have a 1993 Club Car. I just bought it, its got no dammage to the body. It
needs new batteries and charger. Its in great condition, and its going to be a huge project. I've done 2-other carts now:
But, this one is going to be my biggest project yet. I'm planning to convert the electric to gas. I really can't find any gas cart in my state, so I'm stuck to doing this. I don't care about the cost, cause its not going to be a quick one. Its going to take some time. I know theres alot to do. But, Im going to paint it, get new wheels, change the seats, new dash, install lights, and so forth. I found motors for $ 100.00, which would be a stock OEM engine. Its going to get a lot of my time. But, overall what would be the cost consider the $ 100-300.00 dollar motor? |

Re: Electric to Gas
If you're going to go through all the trouble, get a Big Block Kit from Cart Parts Plus. Why go through all that and put in the stock 9.5hp engine?

Re: Electric to Gas
It's a waste of time/money anyway. There are plenty of good used gassers around and plenty of good used sparkies. Buy what you want, because you'll easily tie up a few grand in a conversion.

Re: Electric to Gas
That depends on how much money you want to spend.

Re: Electric to Gas
Clayboy has a big block for sale now. I think he is wanting 400 for it but not sure. There is a post on it in the forsale section.
