That's a common failure.

I do NOT recommend buying another motor from tomberlin as you get the same junky motor made in china, even though it is a American company motor.

I have the motor armatures rewound here in the US and have never had an issue. Ive had to many done and have never had an issue again.

Flash code: 1-3,found all 4 brushes stuck tight,cleaned up brushes and armature,put back together,= works again!

I had one stuck brush. Cleaned all brushes, reassembled and still no movement.

So im going to assume the picture you posted were not of your motor. Cleaning up the brushes is not going to fix a broken armature

I don't have power to my controller. I've checked fuses and the court has power. Any ideas?

If your still running that broken armature, it could have shorted the controller. See if the armature blew apart and touched the case of the motor..If so, that's a short, not good.

I'm still unable to get power to the controller. Someone else must have experienced this issue. Very frustrated!!

Did you check wiring harness,do you have power to dash?

Yes. I have 12 volt power and no 48 volt.
