Re: Micro switches or solenoid
Assuming this is a single solenoid and v-glide setup, can't the micro in the v-glide be wired wrong at the tabs be causing this too?

Re: Micro switches or solenoid
If it is the single Solenoid with the resistors and high current Vglide, the only likely possibility is that the Solenoid is welded.
Otherwise 3 safety devices would have to fail at the same time: Key switch, FNR limit switch and pedal micro-switch. |

Re: Micro switches or solenoid
That's right he said key off.
I'm not saying the solenoid is not bad, but it seems to me I screwed one of these up wiring it one time. If the key switch was wired backward and the micro is wired wrong, wouldn't that activate the solenoid when in F or R? He did just put a new key switch in. |

Re: Micro switches or solenoid
Here’s a couple photos to clear up the confusion on how our cart is equipped. Also double checked the vin plate and it’s a 1992 model year. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Re: Micro switches or solenoid
That is what I was thinking and since the problem started with a working cart and not immediately after you made a bunch of wiring changes, a stuck Solenoid is the most logical diagnosis.

Re: Micro switches or solenoid
There’s a red wire with a big ring terminal next to v glide I can’t see where it’s coming from it’s not connected can you get a better picture of it

Re: Micro switches or solenoid
Roxyflash- that’s the pier wire for my after market lights. I disconnected it. It was hooked up to two of my batteries but I figure it’s best if I just get the voltage reducer hooked up for the lights. That way I don’t burden just two batteries prematurely.
