Inside ICON EV controller housing
I finally decided to open up the controller housing and see what is going on in there and it looks exactly like every electric golf cart setup I've played with before, but I wanted to share the picture/info for others. I was a bit scared at first, worried what I might find but now it's no big deal.
There are 6 screws to access and it is a PAIN if you have a back seat only because the angles are so weird it's hard to get a screwdriver in there. The screws are NOT magnetic so be prepared to drop and search for them multiple times. |

Re: Inside ICON EV controller housing
Took my whole controller out two nights ago, complete pain and waste of time because new one didn’t fit in, going to contact navitas when they open Monday to find out if I should cut the box or what they suggest. There’s not instructions for the navitas install on an icon, it has various other models but nothing for icon in the instruction booklet that came with it.
