Will not shut off.
I have 1995 gas club car. Engine would not start; no fire. In testing, I jumped negative post on coil to top wire on micro switch at F-N-R cam. Engine started and would not shut off, even when key turned off. I had to disconnect the negative battery cable. Any suggesdtions what problem may be?

Re: Will not shut off.
WELCOME TO BGW!!!
There are 2 micro switches in the little black box at the end of the throttle cable under the driver's seat. They are stacked & operated by the throttle cable Cam... One of them ( I think it is the bottom one?) is conducting negative 12v, the other positive 12v. The one with negative juice is the kill switch micro. Probably went bad? |
