Question Re: 2007 Colombia Par Car Problem

Only option to replace it?

If so what is the most affordable method to get a controller?

The cart shop said they were around $800.00.

Thanks

Will it cause any damage when it disengages?

Can I expect it will eventually just completely fail?

Thanks

Update:

Took cart to local dealer. They put code reader on cart after it disengaged and determined it was a dirty motor. They took motor apart and cleaned. This seemed to work for a little while but now it disengages a lot.

Disengages mostly when I fully let of peddle and coast. I stop, turn key off and F/R switch to N. Turn back and it goes every time.

They now think the motor is bad.

Any ideas, are they right, can a bad motor do this? This is getting to be expensive and no one can seem to figure it out. It does give 3 flashes after each time it disengages.

Have to go back to previous belief, because I've seen them do that before. Works fine, especially if you let your foot off the accelerator slowly, but if you just lift off all the way like a normal person would, you get a 3 flash. Controller.

Are you saying you think it could be a motor or still sure it is a controller?

Thanks
