Re: Buying new batteries
I was always under the impression that new batteries took 10-15 cycles to come up to their full potential.
I found this on the Trojan website: • A new battery will not deliver its full rated capacity. This is normal and should be expected as it takes time to “work the battery up” • Trojan’s batteries take between 50 – 100 cycles to work up to providing full, peak capacity Here's the link: http://www.trojanbattery.com/pdf/UsersGuide_English.pdf |

Re: Buying new golf cart batteries
My cable ends are clean. However I have not applied anti-corrode spray.
Speaking of cable end cleaning, what methods are you guys using? I'm finished with my 5th charging cycle. What a total difference in the cart with the new batteries. No more crawling along or shuddering going uphill! |

Re: Buying new golf cart batteries
Disconnect from battery, brush on a soupy paste of baking soda/water on all surfaces to neutralize acid, rinse, and wire wheel/brush till shiney. Cover all exposed surfaces with protectant, reassemble. retighten in 7 days.
