Default Couple of Questions about my club car

Ok, first things first, I know very little about golf carts.

That being said, I have a few questions about a club car golf cart that I recently got in a trade for an xbox 360.

1. All of the old 6 volts in it were old and dead. Can I run 3 12 volts in it? I realize that I wouldn't get the battery life, but would I also lose power?

2. Is there an easy way to take off the F/R switch? One of the contacts is definitely coroded because it only goes into reverse if the left connector thing is twisted the right way.

3. What are some good ways to figure out the year of the cart? I think it's been customized a bit so some ways may be easier than others.

Thanks!!

Year of Cart. = read this http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/elect...olf-carts.html

3x12 = You will cut runtime in half since the more lead the longer U run.
Read this = http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/elect...omparison.html

and last but not least = once U figure cart year , replace the F/R SW (don't DAWG it up)

Thanks for the info.

Any suggestions for some cheap headlights and a cheap DIY utility box?

The cart is working great now!

Just one more question. Is there any way to tell the year of the cart without a serial number? The guy who owned it before me seemed to have taken the little plate with the SN off.

Thanks
