sb2bb,

Wow, you are fortunate.

I have an '05 and I am the second owner

I called a local club car dealer (in Denver) & ask for help in locating the serial number, and you would have thought I was asking for the world. What a bunch of total --- ----- And all I wanted was help in finding the serial # !

I like the Precedent, it's to bad it is made by Club Car.

Have fun Dave

golfcarfixer,

We live in the city of Loveland, about 50 miles north of Denver along I-25.

The Loveland ski area is about 50-60 miles west of Denver along I-70.

No problem - its a common mistake.

to the OP, i used to work at a course that had 06 precedent carts. (had 90) and they do take a good beating with no or little damage.

Best thing to look for when buying one of the carts is to look at the batteries and find a cart that runs the best, last thing you want to do is buy a cart then have to replace the batteries right away, IMO. also look for quality of the skid plate underneath the rear end. if its taken a beating you might want to look for a different cart, that will help to show some of the abuse its had.

When i worked there we used beat on those carts HARD, daily and never had a problem with them for 4 years

What do you think about them.
I love them and they are pretty good.
Thay also take a good beating.
My buddy and me were on one a hole where the path to the next is a long downhill slope and i put the run/ tow switch to tow and let it FLY DOWN THE HILL.
my friend stoped at the bottom, wondering where i was,and i couldnt really stop fast enough so i plowed into the back of his at like 24MPH.
Nothing too bad happened except my little front bumper smashed in and his cart got launched 20 feet ahead.

Back to the point: what do you think about them?
I love mine and never had a real problem,

I'm only pointing out that there is a warranty on these for x number of years, regardless of how many times it has changed hands....I would push the issue if I had a 2005 or up. There was a lot of problems with the OBC as I understand from the guy that fixed mine. Go to your dealer informed or to the manufacture...knowledge is everything or your at their mercy...best of luck to all......Steve

I should have mentioned that I bought the cart in March of 2009 (third owner) and had the batteries replaced along with the OBC during the summer, I think in July 2009...

also like to add, the carts are 2009 precedents with IQ and GUARDIAN SVC (Satelite Vehicle Control). the SVC is neat.
Any info on how to log in to it?
says any internet connected PC can access.
