Re: club battery problems
My experience is that batteries that are let to go that low never come back up to be useful again....They may be too far gone...

Re: club battery problems
found 2 of the bat. low. One all but dead. I've put 12 volt charger at 2 amps and it is putting out 9 volts. I thought I would keep an eye on it and see if it will come up. any thoughts? Thanks Scottyb

Re: club battery problems
Is it a good idea to leave the regular battery charge on all the time or just put it on every so often.

Re: club battery problems
A few. ...
An 8v battery is full at 8.49 and dead at 8.07v. It should not be drawn down below that. Leaving a lead acid battery in a state of discarge for even overnight is detrimental ... longer does irreversable damage. Charging 8v batteries with a 12v charger can lead to trouble if not done by a qualified tech. Keep us posted. |

Re: club battery problems
Wait for the cart charger to shut off autmatically. It should do this in 12 hours or so considering the state of your batteries..... then wait 1 hr for surface charge to settle and post battery readings for each of the six batteries here. You can hope but I doubt the battery problem is over. Batteries should be kept charged up after each 15 - 90 minute use ....
