Alltrax, Logisystem, Other? Which one for IQ
So who has what on their IQ cart and would you use that model or manufacturer again? This is my next step with my cart and would like to get your opinion before I purchase one. Thanks

Re: Alltrax, Logisystem, Other? Which one for IQ
Nope... Know better
Stock controller I think is around 275 amps maybe more, want at least 400 amp controller but I've heard some horror stories about Alltrax and IQ's. I've also heard that the Logi's can be programmed better then the Alltrax for a bit softer off the line where Alltrax is first half pedal nothing then full throttle. These are all what I heard so I'd like to know firsthand if they are correct or just bull@@@@ Didn't answer your question... sorry... I want all the power at takeoff that I can get but... I want to be able to have full control of a little or a lot of takeoff, not all or nothing. Current stock controller works similiar to a car's gas peddle and I'd like the same thing, just wanting to add that "CARB" so to speak to deliver the "Fuel"/AMP's when needed. |

scuba
i have installed an alltrax 400 dcx controller on a buddys cart.. and what you decribe about the 1/2 pedal go i have not seen it works very well and he is very pleased with it and i programed it for its max settings and it does not have the same punch as a series cart and with the turbo setting he gets 2-3 more MPH on flats... |

Re: Alltrax, Logisystem, Other? Which one for IQ
one ting i will add
you will probably need to upgrade your motor, unless you have already thats if yours is lifted with big wheels the regens are bad for popping motors/controllers on carts that are lifted at least that was the problem with his, 3 motors and 1 controller.... |

Re: Alltrax, Logisystem, Other? Which one for IQ
Thanks again
I have a PQ motor and get 26MPH constant and on a really good day 27-28mph, (good day = just me, windshield down, some wind at my back... and maybe a bit of down hill... just a bit!) My cart weighs 1,140 pounds, full back seat, charger in bag well with 30' coiled extension cord, seat belts, AS5 windshield which is heavier than the normal one, running boards, crash bar, bla, bla, bla, bla, 22" all terrain tires, 10" wheels so it isn't a race mo-sheen but 26-26.5 mph is a given! That was before and after the 4 gauge cables but always with the PQ motor upgrade. I want that controller to give me the kick I need at takeoff when I tromp on the pedal. Click on the link in the signature to see it with it's add's. |

Probably a dumb comment, but did you ask PQ because their website indicates they sell Alltrax custom programmed to match their motors.
