Upgrade 2002 IQ club car
Thinking of upgrading my cart to get more speed and some tork. It's a 4 seater with a 6in lift kit and 22 in tires. What do I need to replace and what would you recommend. Motor, Controller, what else?

You would also need to upgrade your cables to 4 gauge and upgrade the solenoid.

Re: Upgrade 2002 IQ club car
There is a upgrade from CC which allows U to go to 19.5 MPH , U have to order it from a CC dealer.
They need some info from your cart, they send off get a special Software Key to unlock the motor and controller , around $100 +- . OR you can send your motor off for a rewind $250-$300 and get up to 25. MPH , keep the same controller and Upgrade all #6 cables to at least #4 - $125-$150. |
