Factors

Conditions - Normal
Extension cord material - Copper
Extension cord gauge - 16
120 Volts 1 pahse
1/2 circuit length in feet - 62.5
Load - 15amps

Estimated voltage drop would be 9.2 volts
Voltage at circuit end would be 110.8 volts

At 125 ' you want to have a 20 amp circuit when you get there. You need to start from a designated 20 amp outlet.... meaning nothing else is on it. A garage or outside outlet will usually provide the amperage needed...Use a #10 wire for that length. You find these cords in the construction industry 100' long. And yes, once a month should be good enough.

I disconnect batteries when I put mine up for the winter, and then charge when I get out in the spring.

I guess disconnecting the battery for winter storage must be the answer because I find that if I don't connect the charger periodically in the winter, the batteries in my farm equipment are discharged by spring. So I either trickle charge the batteries all winter or once a month or so, connect the charger to bring each battery up.
