Default Club Car IQ Alltrax, D&D Question?

I have a 2003 Club Car IQ I have replaced the controller with a Alltrax DCX500 and replaced the motor with a D&D high torque unit which I can't recall the number off hand. My question is I didn't change the solenoid, should I have? if so can someone recommend which one to use. I also have upgraded all the wires to 4ga welding cable.

Thanks in advance

pwfd - how much of a performance increase did you see with all your torque mods? I am seeking more torque for my CC IQ. I've got a Plum Quick speed motor on there now but am considering upgraded the stock controller to a 400amp Alltrax, new HD solenoid and 4g wires if it will make a big difference.

Did you see a big difference in hill climbing, mud, rocks, etc?

Call Everything Carts about the 400 AMP solenoid. They can get them for you.

I know a lot of guys who have been running their stock solenoids in the upgrade. But if you want to be safe do the upgrade! You won't see any extra performance in the upgrade but you won't get stranded!!
