36v to 42v?
Hello all......well it looks like i've gotten all of the life from my batteries....and its time to purchase new ones. My question is: When i go purchase batteries...could i add A 7th one (given the room on the cart) and make my system a 42v one without doing any damage to the machine?

How are you going to charge the extra battery?

Re: 36v to 42v?
42 volt is very "old school" due to the advent of the 8 volt battery being the same size os a 6 volt. Years ago going 42 volt was ok. If you wanted to increase range, speed, and torque, thay could be one way to do it. You would have to buy a 42 volt charger which they do make.

Re: 36v to 42v?
hmmm...never thought about the charging issues. course.....i split the banks anyways and charge with 3 12volt cargers. (i'm a cheap ole fart). i was just wondering if it would hurt the wiring if i was to add that extra battery into the mix.
