Battereis or Charger
I have an 02 CC, 48Volt with original batteries. I have neglected the batteries over the winter and the charger wont even kick on when plugged in. Will bad batteries cause the charger to not kick on to start charging? I knew the batteries were nearing end of life and planned on replacing this spring.

Re: Battereis or Charger
Yes they can because the OBC has to tell the charger it has i think somewhere around 30 volts before it will kick on. Have you checked your pack voltage with a volt meter?

Re: Battereis or Charger
I checked individual batteries but not the entire pack yet. I will do that tonight and post some details.
