Default 90 club car tires

Can I use 20 inch tires on 8 inch rims without scrubbing on my 90 model DS.

Yes if they are no wider than 8 1/2". You will gain a little speed and lose a little torque.

You may have a little scrubbing in the front... There's a few little things you can do to tweak the height of the front. Let me know if you need help.

That's a pretty tough call. A 20" tire will give you 1" of lift, anything more and you will need a lift kit.

Without a lift kit, maybe new springs? I'm an Ezgo guy so it's just a guess.

You tweak the height of the front end by stacking 2 more plates above the center of the front spring. It gives you a total of three instead of one. It'll give you half an inch of lift. This is what Club Car does to their XRT810 vehicles to run 20X10X8 tires. You'll definitely have to run off set rims with a width of 10 inches. If not, you'll be rubbing the inside of the tire on the spindles.
