Re: change engine
Pretty simple to do, remove access cover, unbolt the motor I believe that 3 of the bolts are 7/16 and one is 1/2, I put a motorcycle tie down strap around the motor to help hold the weight and pull it up out of the access hole. Once the bolts have been removed just pull the motor off the spline and lift it out.

Re: change engine
He forgot to add..... pray the motor isn't seized on the input shaft, but yeah, Frizbgolf gave an excellent description. Another good thing to use for removing the motor (in place of a motorcycle tie down) is an old bag strap off a cart that you put a 4 passenger kit on.

Re: change engine
most Club Car motors will have 3 bolts that you access from the top access panel and a 4th that is located on the botom side just in front of the axle tube.

Re: change engine
depending on the type of motor on your car, the 4th bolt may be going through a seperate bracket that you can remove and put on the new motor, or it may be cast as part of the case of the motor. If it is cast, you should get with your vendor and see if they sell a bracket for the motor you bought.
