Welcome to BGW.
There is also lots of information about swaps, just search. There are site sponsors who have everything you need. See the site sponsor tab. |

Re: 90 club car engine swap
It might be you post count why you cant search. If you look at the home screen under modified carts there is a section labeled big block talk, there is a lot of info.

Is the stock motor blown up? Even the stock motor should be fine for your hill, unless you live on a steep mountain or something.

My nieghbor said he heard knocking in it so he took the motor out... and never did anything.. i turn it by hand and it seems to have good comprestion... in my head i wanted easy but maybe rebuilding it might be cheeper and easyer.... of cource i have never done anything like this before...

Re: 90 club car engine swap
Well, if it needs rebuilt, it won't be cheap. If it was a good running motor I'd say keep it; but parts for those older flatheads are expensive and some are very hard to find.
I have that same motor in my cart and it runs great. But I do have a spare in case anything ever happens to it. |

Re: 90 club car engine swap
And thats where im stuck in what direction to go... it would be nice to put something else in it and after time when that breaks the parts are easily available. What do you think a rebuild would cost on the flathead?
